Dean is married to Deanie Seay-Doster. He and Deanie came to SFBC in 2015. Dean is retired from the Louisiana Baptist Convention where he served as Executive Director for 8 years. Prior to that he served 13 years at the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. He has served in numerous churches as pastor and interim pastor during his 50+ years in the ministry. Dean & Deanie have 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. They enjoy family dinner on Sundays and vacations in Florida, but not at the beach.
