At SFBC, we have a Sunday School class for everyone from babies to Senior adults. Children and students are able to receive age-appropriate instruction on the Word of God from teachers who present the material in an exciting but clear way. There are many adult Sunday School classes where the gospel of Jesus Christ is presented to strengthen the individual and families through teaching, learning, and friendship.

Kids in Divine Service (Kids Church)

KidsChurch is part of the children’s ministry of SFBC. We are dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ.  KidsChurch is for children ages 4 yrs. – 1st grade. This high energy, high impact ministry happens during Sunday Morning worship at 10:30 am.  They meet each week in KidStuff Room 103. Typically, our KidsChurch ‘crew’ will join the music portion of the worship service. SFBC uses the Kid Check system, which is a secure and user friendly way to drop off and pick up your child.

There are many opportunities to serve in this exciting  and important ministry. These are some of the areas we serve on both sides of the wire.

For those incarcerated, we have various topical studies as well as an ongoing discipleship curriculum of:

• Celebrate Recovery
• Spiritual Disciplines of the Christian Faith
• Christian Ethics
• Systematic Theology
• Hermeneutics

We also offer one-on-one counseling for inmates by request. Our “pen-pal” ministry has proven to be the most impactful aspect of our Prison Ministry.
